Youth Voice ‘aims to get urban Cambodian youth to express their views on issues that are important to them. Through initiatives using the Youth Voice Forum, they are able to bring to the attention of those in charge of issues such as the government, the private sector, and civil society, so that they have a responsibility to improve access to decent and secure urban living and to develop and implement beneficial youth policies.
‘Youth Voice’ helps young people in Cambodia to organize and manage to express their views on issues that are important to them.
This Youth Voices forum will help each campaign in some of the following ways:
- Arranging meetups (can be meetings/simulations / gatherings)
- Gathering people to like or share those views on their social media
- Asking people to help with problems or stories (text, pictures, videos, audio)
- Commencement of Petitioning
This Youth Voice forum guides you through creating a campaign that has a clear purpose and can be successful. This forum gathers support for your issues, measures your success, and is an easy tool for keeping in touch with your campaign supporters.
‘Youth Voices’ is a Comfrel initiative. Comfrel will support selected youth groups and youth organizations to form and shape their campaigns. See the Small and Medium Funding Application Process here.
